As a SEO Specialist, the candidate’s job roles and responsibilities will include:
- Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value, relevant keywords for our industry and target audience.
- On-Page SEO Optimization: Optimize website content, including meta tags, headers, and page content, to improve search engine rankings and user experience.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators to develop and execute content strategies that align with SEO goals and resonate with our target audience.
- Technical SEO: Identify and resolve technical SEO issues, including site speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability, to ensure optimal website performance.
- Link Building: Implement effective link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks and boost domain authority.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze website traffic, keyword rankings, and other SEO metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and SEO software.
- Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Local SEO: Optimize our online presence for local search, including managing Google My Business listings and other local SEO initiatives.
As a SEO Specialist, the candidate is expected to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO techniques.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website content management systems (CMS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
