- Consistent colours and fonts
The colours and fonts that are used should be limited. Multiple fonts and colours would lead to users being confused and distracted. Using not more than 3 fonts and 5 colours is recommended.
- Usability over animations
The main focus of the website is to provide content and information. It should be the top priority. When adding animations to the website, it should be kept in mind to keep it minimal and to put it only where necessary as it may hamper the loading times of the website
- The design should be responsive.
Most of the users around the globe browse the internet via mobile devices. Special care should be taken to make your website optimised on mobile devices as well
